So, the main Halloween activities this year were our work Halloween party and pumpkin carving. Here are some pics from the past couple of days!
At 3 pm, we didn't have any more meetings at work, no one was coming in, and there weren't many people in the office. So I transformed my all black into a lady bug! It was fun. After seeing me costumed, one of the partners went and put on his Elvis costume! I'll have to get that picture... Anyways, we had a little Halloween party at work. Here I am with Christine, Elizabeth, and Lisa (L to R). I'm the receptionist, and these are the 3 admins. They're awesome.
We carved pumpkins! Here we are with our pumpkins before the carving. Let's give a shout out to the "Yes on 8" poster behind us...
Successfully carved! Nate stuck with a traditional face, and mine is an "Autumn" theme. Nate said that he's learned something about me--I love Autumn. It's true. I've been obsessed with butternut squash and pumpkin recipes (if you need recipes, let me know) this season, and I just love the leaves and the colors and everything! So, my pumpkin says "autumn" and then has leaves cut out and poking out.

I love the autumn pumpkin! The leaves sticking out are great. I love this time of year too! I haven't gotten to experience fall yet, since San Diego doesn't ever change and I miss it so much!
YAY for Halloween is right!!! And yes, your poster definitely needs a shout out!! I've been a bit nervous to check the results, but let's not let that dampen the spirit of fall!!! Do you have a good soup recipe?? I'd LOVE one!

I hereby name Nate's pumpkin "Basic Bob." Totally sweet!
PS- We got an offer in Palo Alto, we'll have to be friends again. :)
How fun! Hey, do you have a recipe for butternut squash soup??? I have been dying to try one!
