I definitely have to give a huge shout out 'thank you' to Alberto and Miguel at Kragen Auto Parts. They absolutely came to my rescue last night when I was about to be stranded in a rainy parking lot 2 hours before Nathan's birthday party and my car wouldn't start. I got in the car, and knew that it was the battery b/c nothing came on. I called Nate,who quickly came to my side. We tried to jump it, but it didn't work. Thankfully, it was the BEST place in the world to be stranded because though I had gone to Target, it was across the parking lot from Kragen. When I went in to Alberto the manager to ask for assistance, he told me to give him 2 minutes, and he'd have a guy come to my car, replace the battery, and he wouldn't charge me anything extra. Sometimes it's very beneficial to be a woman. So Miguel walked across the parking lot in the rain to my car where he changed the acid-covered battery, installed a new one, and walked all the way back. Bless him. I had an extra bag of ministering visit candy in my car, so i gave it to Alberto and the team. They were such a blessing! Thanks, Kragen!
