The Big 2-5

I had an absolutely fabulous birthday--thank you to all who made it so special! I received the royal treatment at work with cake, card, poster with people telling me why they love me, songs, cards, presents, decorated desk, long lunch with great friend, and just overall love and attention! And it was a gorgeous day outside, which made it even that much better! That night Nathan and I went out to dinner at Boudin right on the wharf. I know, not a very fancy place for a birthday dinner, but I really wanted soup in a bread bowl. When I told people at work that we were going out to dinner for my birthday evening, all of their recommendations were like the most expensive/fancy places in the city. I kindly accepted their recommendations, but thought about the stark differences of opinions we had on where to spend money. It was kind of funny. Anyway, here we are at Boudin. You can't see the water in the first picture, which is too bad b/c it was such a gorgeous view. I guess the parking lot is nice too?

Of course Boudin is famous for their bread, which is amazing, and why I took a picture with the massive basket of it.

The next day, we had a super fun pool party/bbq at our apartment complex with friends. Though it wasn't a hot day, it was definitely a day you wanted to be outside b/c it was again beautiful. Nate was on the grill, and we had a great time enjoying each other's company. I have the best friends, and I'm so grateful for them. Thank you to everyone for making my b-day so special!
