While we wait for baby...

I'm learning (or trying to learn) more about patience. Ok, maybe I'm not learning anything as of right now, but instead am being forced to be patient. Yes, there is a scripture which says that those who are compelled are not blessed as much as those who choose. So tonight I'm going to study more about patience and choose to be patient. I know that timing is in the Lord's hands, and that everything will be for the best. Anyway, in the meantime, here are some random things:
I saw a superhero the other day. I love San Francisco.

Me at 40 weeks (my original due date...). This past week, the dr. let me know that after our first ultrasound (March), she changed our due date to Nov 14th from the 10th, and for some reason I was never told of the switch. So, today is my real due date...

In the meantime, we've been LOVING this awesome SF weather! It's been sunny and like 70 everyday. Bliss. Yesterday we went to Golden Gate park for a walk and to feed the birds at Stow Lake. Here is my artistic picture of Nathan with the light streaming through the trees...

Next time we're going to rent paddle boats
Ok, I usually don't feed seagulls for a few reasons: They're the loudest/most obnoxious, they bully other birds, and they're simply not as cute as some of the smaller birds and duck families. BUT, these seagulls were amazing! They did this hover stunt and then would catch the bread in the air. It was pretty cool:

Nathan called them the "Owls of Ga'Hoole" because, "I don't know, I had just seen a bunch of signs for the movie, and they were birds" --Nathan Tanner

Oh man, my due date got pushed back ten days, and they did not tell me until a month before--then I was induced a week late! Blah! Of course, I was grateful to have her first birthday be that much later. Enjoy your last few days of sleep!!! ;)
