I love San Francisco

Seriously, San Francisco is such an awesome city, and I absolutely love living here. Claire and I went on a walk today, and I just kept thinking about how blessed I am and what a cool city this is. Here are some reasons why I love it:
  • The weather is overall pretty awesome
  • There is always an event you can attend
  • Just walk around and there's someone performing
  • I live above a dry cleaners and an awesome Indian restaurant
  • I can walk to friends' houses, the grocery store, and the best shopping in the world (to name a few)
  • The views and skylines are beautiful
  • You can go from being right downtown and almost unable to see the sky because of tall buildings to Golden Gate park, which I truly believe is one of the most beautiful parks on earth.
  • Most people want to legalize marijuana--who wouldn't want that?

We're really having a lot of fun. Here are some pictures from what we've been up to:

We're all smiles these days!! Seriously, her smiles make everything worth it!
Me and Claire at the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park
Freda and Mary Iverson came to visit, which was so fun! Here we climbed one of the bridges in the Tea Garden
Claire--was our walk that boring? And are you storing nuts in your cheeks? This was from our walk today. And yes, Claire is chubby, which is one of the many reasons why we love her.
Ok, so some people might not think this is cool, but I watched fishermen for about 30 minutes today. There was a group of fishing boats like the one above right off of the Embarcadero in the Bay, and it was the coolest thing! I've never seen them that close before. The seagulls were going crazy, and there were also tons of pelicans and seals around ready for the easy food. It was fascinating to see the whole process. Just another reason why the city is cool--educational field trips are at your fingertips!
Come visit! We'd love to have you anytime!
