a little update

Just a few pictures

 Scott and Kristen came to visit so we hit up a couple of hot spots in SF as entertainment.  

 Getting comfortable with fingerpaints--she liked it at first, but then was disturbed that her hands were dirty.

 Love this little girl.  First of all, I love how happy she is pretending to talk on the phone.  Second, she starts off the day with a pony tail, but usually by the afternoon, the rubberband is no longer standing, and Claire is left with this awesome mohawk which doesn't fall until bathtime.  It's hilarious.

 I spent last week in San Diego with my sister who just had her second baby, Ruby.  I forget how little newborns are, but i definitely love their ability to cuddle.

 Claire is a super trooper when it comes to falling down while mastering walking.  She really only gets mad when she's really tired.  Other than that, it's just no problem getting right back up.  Unless there's stuff on her hands which she can't get off herself.

I don't think there's a more perfect profile in all the world.  Claire is now 15 months and really cute and fun.  Her personality is blossoming, including her ability to protest, look me straight in the eye and shake her head and do something she's not supposed to, etc., but also she's such a cuddler and will run her fingers through my hair for a long time, shares food, loves getting tickled and will request a dance party when I turn on Disney music.  Her vocabulary is growing with "Nine" , "Pea" and "Puh" (clip) being her most recent additions.
