This year, the George Family Vacation was in Duck Creek, UT. Yes, I was as skeptical as you as how cool of a place that would be, but it was so much fun. It's in southern Utah, between Cedar City and Bryce, and it's gorgeous. The whole family was there, except Nate, who was sorely missed! We had a great week full of outdoor activities (and a few indoor, including the bouncer which my parents always bring, and Claire's favorite activity of the whole week.). Here are some pics of our first outing--a hike to a waterfall. Gorgeous and fun.
Claire enjoying her new hiking backpack, and me and Maren.
Like seriously, how cute is my mom?!? She's the best grandma ever.
(Most of) the kids who are old enough to understand how to stay still for a picture. This is 5/9 grandkids.
My awesome family. Love them all. Leaving family vacation is one of the worst days of the year. Till 2013!

looks so fun. so sad that we couldn't see you. its funny that your family vacation was to my home state and mine was to yours, yet we still couldn't see each other. someday :)
Fun, fun! I bet the boys LOVED all the sticks, rocks and dirt. What a great time, and a great family picture!
Whitney! I love the pictures and videos, and your cute narrative. Claire singing, "I Love to See the Temple" is unbelievable for a girl who hasn't quite reached the ripe age of two. You are such an attractive family.
