This weekend

We've had a great weekend! First of all, Steph and Joe came and spent the night on their way home from Joe's orientation at UC Davis. It was SO great to see them! Nate says that the more he sees me and Steph together the more he realizes why we're best friends. That's right! Here's a shout out to her--our high school graduation picture!
So this is kind of random, but this was a new recipe that I tried this week--Sweet Potato Falafel! I fell in love with falafel in Jerusalem, and have a great recipe for it, then found this variation! It was a success! I'm loving sweet potatoes these days, so it was fun to try.
Today we went to the sealing of Mike and Candace Robertson! It was such a great day! We're so excited for them, as they are perfect for each other and such a virtuous, awesome couple! We were honored to be there. Mike and Nate are great friends and here they are!
The Wedding luncheon was at Scott's Seafood at Jack London Square in Oakland. It was so great! Candace went to so much work to make everything perfect. I loved this blow up fish and Nate was a trooper to take a picture with me in front of it!

Shut up?! I made my own falafel for the first time last night and thought it turned out quite nicely. I must have your sweet potato falafel recipe!
