Happy 4th of July! We had a really fun day here in Menlo Park. We started off the day at the ward breakfast, which was awesome. Brittany Erickson was in charge of the program, which couldn't have been better, and then the pancake breakfast. It was great! Here we are at it:.JPG)
Then in the afternoon we had a BBQ with a group of our friends, which was way fun. Nate was on the grill, and everyone brought sides to make it a great occasion! Here's the American Flag cake which I had way too much fun making!

After that, we headed out to watch fireworks. We drove up to Canada College, which is on a mountain which looks over the San Francisco Bay. Not only was the view gorgeous, but because we were up so high, we could see fireworks from San Jose to San Mateo--about 5 sets of them! So it was super fun. 2 years ago on the 4th, Nathan and I got engaged, last year we spent the 4th in NYC, so this year was great to add to our list!
