MoMA

Claire and I hit up the SF MoMA today, which was awesome! I loved it. I'm always impressed by the creativity of people and how their brain puts together images, colors, textures, etc. This piece was one of my favorites--"Lick and Lather". It represents how in the world, women are expected to be two things: seductive and beautiful, and polished and sophisticated. The "Lick" part (on the left) is made from chocolate, and the "Lather" is made from soap. Apparently the artist 'sculpted' the chocolate bust by licking it (at least in the later stages). How genius is that?

I'm so proud of you for going to MoMA! Focusing on one or two things is perfect, especially for Claire, who loves the stimulation of living in the big city. What a good mom you are.
