6 months

It's weird to think that I've been a mom for half of a year. I feel like the first few months went slowly, but once she hit 3 1/2 months, it's flown by. Probably because it gets progressively fun, as babies get more interactive, their physical development comes along, and you get more sleep as time goes on.
For Claire, being 6 months means almost being able to sit up by herself (she can, but she loses her balance after a bit, which usually means a faceplant or fall to the back if I weren't sitting with her)
It means 2 sharp bottom teeth which have the desire to get on everything--clothes, socks, toys, bathtub sides, fingers, toes, tables, etc.
It means fascination with designs and prints. She is in awe of Nathan's ties, embellishments on shirts, wallpapers, couches and pillows, printed blankets, etc.
It means excitement for the world around her. If she's ever having a tough time and it's not because it's nap or meal time, we go outside, and she's instantly happy. She loves looking at the world around her, staring at strangers, and just taking it all in. We love our little Claire!

I love the dress with the bird pattern on it.She is a fashion plate baby. None of us have ever seen a photo of her where she is crying, mad, fussy, or miserable.
What a great baby, Claire!

Well, I don't take pictures when she's crying, so therefore I don't post them. And, she is a great baby, so if i were to get out the camera while she was crying, she'd either 1)stop crying to look at the camera, 2)be mad at me for taking a pause while nursing
or 3) be almost asleep.

How fun! Six months is such a great stage. Things for you start to settle down a bit (more sleep, baby is a little less needy, etc) while things for them speed up (eating, moving, exploring, personality, etc.) Claire is such a doll!
