Napa Trip

Even though there is wine everywhere, we were able to find fun, nonalcoholic activities to do in Napa. It was a gorgeous day, and we had a great time! Stop 1 was a honey farm just outside of Napa. This one guy was running the place, and he was super cute about his farm.
Online, it says that tours are $35/adult, but apparently that isn't always the case, and we were able to tour the farm by ourselves for free. It was so cute! He has quite the setup, and sells to markets, including Whole Foods.
Below: all of the bee boxes, and barrels where they keep honey.
We walked along the river in downtown Napa and then went to Oxbow Market, which is kind of a mini Ferry Building experience, with lots of little boutique-y restaurants and shops. We had delicious tacos!

Then we drove up to a winery for the views. I don't know if any of you saw the recent Oprah where she interviewed Ralph Lauren, but there were so many forced inspirational quotes which i afterwards kept quoting because they were so over the top. One of them was when Ralph and Oprah were looking over his land and he said, "This is what life is all about", to which Oprah quickly followed (almost interrupted) with "No--this IS life." It was so cliche and dramatic, but so Oprah. Anyways, we decided that when we looked over Napa Valley that "This IS Life." hah.

And then we came home! lol
