We just wrapped up an awesome weekend which was full of family, friends, and fun, centered around blessing Levi. We all got so spoiled, the kids especially with a whole lot of this:
and this:
I truly felt badly last night after everyone had left knowing that Claire and Levi were going to wake up to the usual routine with just me. Both my and Nathan's parents are amazing and wonderful grandparents and just love these two little ones with all of their hearts. So, we had to say goodbye to multiple new toys every Target trip, being held for every nap, having endless fun activities, someone to blow bubbles at every turn, etc...
Since it was hot at the end of last week, we spent a lot of the weekend poolside. Here are my parents with my kids. I'm so glad they planned coordinating outfits for this picture :).
We blessed Levi on Sunday and the whole day I was just overflowing with love and gratitude for all of the amazing people in my life and the blessings of the Gospel. Thinking about the Plan of Salvation and how much our Father in Heaven must love us just filled my heart with immense joy. I'm so grateful for the truths which we know, and for my beautiful children with whom I'm somehow entrusted.
We were so grateful that family was able to make this super procrastinately (a word?) planned blessing and for our friends (not pictured) who came and participated as well. Levi is now 2 1/2 months and doing great. His smiles and loud inhales (which I think are beginning laughs) melt my heart and I can already tell that he is such a sweet boy. We are so blessed to have him in our lives!

Congratulations! Thank you for sharing on your blog! I think that you and your family are cool.
#1--You are the hottest mom of a 2-month old I have ever seen.
#2--There's no rule as to when blessings are supposed to be. We blessed Rubes at 3 months old and it was awesome. I believe Eliza was blessed at 5 months. I think the 6 week tradition started bc that's when people start taking their kids back to church... So, Levi's blessing was in no way procrastinated! Plus PS remember when Nate broke his collarbone?
little Levi is so cute and Claire is so big. I love it
We love the fact that Levi and Ryan share blessing dates! And I didn't that his blessing was late at all. Due to summer travel, we didn't bless Justin until he was four months old and had outgrown his blessing outfit. Ha! Ryan's blessing date was chosen in large part because it was Cinco de Mayo. Yep. Mike thought it would be awesome to have a Mexican style brunch afterwards. Cheesy, but true. ;)
