Ellis Island and The Statue of Liberty

Today we went to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty! We had quite the adventure getting to the ferry, though, as the minimum-wage workers who were controlling our public transportation had no desire to be efficient... But, we made it, and we got to walk around the island and learn more about

immigration. I love days when Nathan and I get to go out together--it's so much fun! Here's Nathan pretending to be Will Smith in Hitch, looking for a specific name on the Ellis Island records.

After Ellis Island we went to the Statue of Liberty, which is always quite the sight!
