Weekend

Though our time here is coming to a close, we're still having lots of fun out here! We had a great weekend. One of the highlights for me was Rockefeller Center, which is always great! It was a beautiful day, and it was fun to walk around the shops and Farmers Market. Friday night, we went to "Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy", which was
awesome! It totally exceeded our expectations, and was so much fun to watch, as we were completely amazed by the performers' strength and physical ability. We would definitely recommend it! It's not done by the same company as Cirque de Soleil, but it's the same type of thing, and was super fun! We were also able to meet up with BYU friends this weekend, which was so fun. On Friday, a group of I-Bankers and their friends all met at the Marriott Marquis, where we all talked and had fun together! It was funny being together again in NYC! On Saturday we went out to dinner with the Millers, who will be moving to San Fran. We ate at our favorite pizza place--Angelo's Coal Oven Pizzeria. So good! So we had a great weekend. This is my (Whitney) last week here, as I leave a week from today to find housing in Menlo Park. It's been so fun!

I've always wanted to go to a cirque type show! I saw one in an IMAX theater once, but I'm sure it would be a lot cooler in person! I'm so jealous of all the fun things you're doing, I feel like I'm living through you as a check your blog all the time! I'm so glad you update so often!

Thank you, Whit, for reminding me how great NY is. Before I went I really didn't expect to like it. But Cheryl and I have loved it and hope to get back. I just reviewed all your NY blogs and noticed you went to the Natural History Museum but didn't mention the Rose Planitarium. That was my favorite part. One show, narrated by Tom Hanks, was fantastic.
Hope your last week is great! e had a great time with your folks at Shakespeare in CC, but missed you.
